Starthilfe50 is a commercial website for imparting computer skills. The platform provides various computer courses online for people who did not grow up with computers and who would like to learn more about computer skills. The courses consist of explanatory films ( screencasts ). The website serves to close the digital divide and promotes digital integration .
The website went online in 2009 and was renamed "Levato" in 2015. The explanatory films received awards from the Federal Ministry of Economics in 2009 and 2014 as well as from the State of Rhineland-Palatinate in 2010 and the “1,2,3 GO” competition supported by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry .
