Status bar

The status bar (Engl. Status bar ), and status bar called, is a passive control of a computer program or an operating system of a mobile device, which is usually at the edge of the screen is, in the former below the latter above, and information about the status of the program or any status or other notifications on the smartphone or tablet . The status bar is usually divided into several sections by vertical lines, which sometimes also contain symbols (see illustration). For example, in a web browser, a closed padlock icon Padlock symbol for secure connection in Mozilla Firefox indicates that the current web page was transmitted over a secure connection .
