The Osservatorio Astrofisico di Asiago , English Asiago Astrophysical Observatory or Asiago Observatory for short is an observatory of the University of Padua with the observatory code 043. It was founded in 1942 and is located on the Asiago plateau , 90 km northwest of Padua . It houses three reflector telescopes :

  • Copernico , with a primary mirror diameter of 182 cm
  • Schmidt , a Schmidt camera with an aperture of 67 cm, and
  • Galileo with a mirror diameter of 122 cm.

Osservatorio Astronomico di Asiago Cima Ekar

Another small observatory is located about 3.4 kilometers south-east on the “Cima Ekar” summit, where the Asiago-DLR Asteroid Survey (ADAS) is also located. The station's observatory code is 098.
