Cuttings knife (English: gardenknife ) or finishing knives are used in gardening shops to cut cuttings and for finishing . In order to guarantee optimal insertion, the blade must be very sharp-edged.

The cutting knife is a folding knife. It consists of a straight blade approx. 10 cm long. Please note that the cutting edge may only be ground on one side, otherwise you could easily injure yourself.

In order to create a straight cut, the knife has to be very sharp. The knife must always be cleaned after use in order to prevent possible infections that could be passed on through the blade into the freshly formed wound on the plant.
