Fabian Brütting (born June 10, 1988 in Bamberg ) is a German basketball player.

career

Brütting started playing basketball at SV Gundelsheim. He was able to recommend himself for various selection teams and was accepted into the "Franken 1st" youth development program run by the first division club Brose Bamberg . There he started for TSV Tröster Breitengüßbach in the youth and won the German runner-up in the U18 and also played in the 2006 newly established NBBL youth basketball league and reached the Final Four tournament.

His first season as a professional was in 2006/2007 in the 2nd Basketball Bundesliga South.

In 2007/2008 Brütting started both for TSV Tröster Breitengüßbach in the newly founded Pro B , and for Dimplex Falke Nürnberg in the second highest division Pro A , with a double license.

Then Brütting moved to the BBC Bayreuth in the Pro A and played there until 2010 and rose with the BBC Bayreuth in the basketball Bundesliga as Pro A champion. He also won the 2010 DBB Cup with Bayreuth and thus made the double. He was also German university champion in basketball with the University of Bayreuth and took part in the European University Championships in Cordoba / Spain.

For the season 2010/2011 Fabian Brütting moved to Nuremberg BC in the Pro B . After just one year he moved on to the Giants Nördlingen , who started in the Pro B in the 2011/2012 season. Brütting was there for six seasons captain and service provider of the teams. In 2014/2015 he was named the most valuable player in the Regionalliga Südost .

After several knee injuries, Brütting moved back to his homeland and played a few more games for TSV Tröster Breitengüßbach.
