Stone row on the East Cult Farm

The row of stones at East Cult Farm (also called Caputh Church) is east of Dunkeld in Perthshire , Scotland .

A pair of stones 1.8 and 2.15 m high and a lying stone with 130 bowls ( English cups ) 40 to 110 mm in diameter lie to the west of the farm.

The stone setting investigated by JR Allen in 1881 and Frederick Rhenius Coles (1854–1929) in 1908 is, according to Coles, the remainder of a Recumbent Stone Circle (RSC) about 25.0 m in diameter. So far, however, there is no evidence that these are the remains of a stone circle. The cup stone is weathered, but Cole's sketch appears to be accurate. The stones were placed under protection.
