Stella (potato)

Stella is a waxy table potato . The variety was bred in France by H. Demesmay by crossing the Kerpondy and Hyva varieties . The tubers ripen medium early, are long and crooked and usually small to medium-sized. The skin and the meat are light yellow.

The variety is susceptible to late blight , Y virus and leaf roll virus , but is resistant to potato cancer .
