Stephanos (poet)
Stephanos , son of the comedian Antiphanes , was an important representative of the Greek New Comedy in the 4th / 3rd centuries. Century BC Chr.
In an ancient review, Stephanos was wrongly counted among the most important poets of medium comedy. Today only five verses of a dialogue from his work Der Spartanerfreund bei Athenaios have survived.
