Stereotomy

As stereotomy (Gr.) Refers to the portion of the solid geometry , of the averages of the surfaces of geometric bodies treated, in particular the so-called stone-section , at the vault constructions comes in application. Their representations are illustrated by the descriptive geometry . In practice, the creator makes a drawing of the planned body, showing all the connecting parts and how each block fits into the other.
