Sterilization in Place (SIP) (to German: sterilization on site) called purification process in process engineering plants , especially in pharmaceutical production and biological systems. All areas of the system that come into contact with the product are sterilized without any major dismantling .

Usually, which is sterilized by superheated steam conducted or using special chemicals.
