Bern observatories
There are five observatories in the canton of Bern :
- Muesmatt observatory (City of Bern, since 1922)
- Uecht observatory in Niedermuhlern
- Schwarzenburg school observatory
- Sirius observatory in Schwanden
- Zimmerwald University Observatory
The old observatory in Bern (1812-1876) 600000 / 200000 was located at the present site of the Institute of Exact Sciences (Sidlerstrasse 5).
