Section leader (politics)

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The voting leader is the representative authorized by the sending authority to cast votes in a higher-level body, provided this only allows a uniform vote for each member.

German Federal Council

In the Federal Republic of Germany, the federal states are represented by their Bundesrat members. The state government, or the representatives themselves during the plenary session, determine who casts the votes to which the state is entitled in the Bundesrat plenum. He casts all votes, even if no other representatives from his country are present at the meeting. However, if a member objects to the voting leader, his voting leadership will collapse.
