Stockerbach Viaduct
The Stockerbach Viaduct is a railway bridge on the Gäubahn near Freudenstadt - Grüntal .
The bridge is 296 m long and 42 m high. The span between the pillars is 50 - 60 - 60 - 60 - 50 m.
The bridge was built in 1877–1879. In 1945 towards the end of the Second World War , the bridge was destroyed by the German Wehrmacht. The bridge could be repaired by 1949. After the war, however , the trusses were replaced by steel boxes and the two destroyed truss pillars with concrete pillars.
