The Stolzenburg , also called Stelzenberg , is an abandoned castle south of the municipality of Stelzenberg in the Kaiserslautern district in Rhineland-Palatinate .
The castle, which cannot be precisely located, was built by the Lords of Stelzenberg in 1244 and mentioned in 1293. The lords of Flersheim are named as other owners of the castle. In the Thirty Years War (1618–1648) the castle was completely destroyed.
