Offenses against physical integrity
The offenses against physical integrity are described in §§ 223-231 of the German Criminal Code (17th section of the special part of the Criminal Code). The term bodily harm offense is not identical with this, as it excludes consent ( Section 228 StGB), filing for criminal charges ( Section 230 StGB) and participation in a brawl ( Section 231 StGB).
The legal protection of the physical integrity of the person is protected by the facts .
