Request for punishment

The criminal prosecution requested by the will of the injured party for a criminal offense is called a criminal request. In addition to the formal designation as a criminal complaint , Section 77e of the Criminal Code expressly uses the term with so-called authorizations , whereby the provisions of the criminal complaint apply accordingly. In addition, criminal requests in the Criminal Code describe the request by foreign authorities for criminal prosecution. It is a prerequisite for all crimes against foreign states. However, authorization from the federal government is required for criminal prosecution . ( § 104a ).
