Companies can use the Streetspotr platform to place small orders (“Spots”) such as photos or mystery shopping with interested people (“Spotr”).

Foundation and development

Streetspotr was founded on June 24th, 2011. After a beta phase on November 29, 2011, the platform was launched on April 15, 2012 in 16 German cities. Streetspotr is now internationally active.

functionality

The Streetspotr app locates the spotr via GPS and shows you the open spots in their area. For example, sports are now taking photos of supermarket shelves with their cell phones to show companies whether their products are being displayed well.

For the processing of paid spots, "Spotr" receive a previously known amount of money.

Unpaid spots can, for example, relate to sights or consist of small social tasks, such as supporting people with special needs.

So-called StreetPoints are credited for successfully completed spots. A “StreetScore” is calculated from these points and other criteria; higher values provide expanded possibilities.
