German lessons accompanying the course

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Study-accompanying German lessons are German lessons at universities and colleges for students of all subjects except German studies, which "accompanies" the course on the way to work.

The German and foreign language lessons accompanying the course are therefore job-oriented and interdisciplinary and differ due to the special target group - i.e. H. of students from all universities and fields of study - from general German and language lessons for adults. Students need to build and develop competencies and key skills that adults have (or should have) long since, and this requires the choice of specific content and the use of targeted materials and procedures in the classroom.

It is about the professional competence that develops in, through and with the language , as well as the necessary requirements in research and teaching and not about technical language or business language . In the last few years, several framework curricula have been created for German lessons during the course of studies. The more recent curricula take into account the CEFR ( Common European Framework of Reference ) and have been expanded particularly in the area of assessment and evaluation.

Through the development of curricula and teaching materials, German language lessons during the course of studies have established themselves as an independent subject.
