Studio 89

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Studio 89 was a particularly disco medleys bidding music program of the RIAS , which was aired every Saturday, February 17, 1979 to September 28, 1985 23:35 to 1:30 on the radio.

The show was subtitled: "The RIAS Dance Show". The new sound effects , some of which came from the computer, were appropriately incorporated in time, which allowed Studio 89 to catch up with the New York disco radios. Two 55-minute dance mixes were broadcast in each broadcast, and recordings from the disco radios in New York (especially WRKS KISS ) were also included in some cases .

The show came to an end through the RIAS Berlin program reform to the newly emerging rias2 youth wave, but its concept was continued on other channels by the maker Barry Graves as “Studio 92” ( SFB ) or “Alex in Wonderland” (B1) .
