Suisse Caravan Salon
The Suisse Caravan Salon is a Swiss fair for caravanning and camping . The salon takes place every autumn in Bern . The organizer of the Suisse Caravan Salon is Bernexpo AG .
Creation and concept
The history of the Suisse Caravan Salon began in 1964. At that time, Jürg W. Vogel and other people launched the first Swiss Caravan Salon in the Züspa Hall in Zurich. The Swiss caravan trade association SCGV was founded with the first salon, and Jürg W. Vogel took over the presidency. The modest exhibition consisted of about 10-15 exhibitors. The 43rd edition of the Suisse Caravan Salon saw over 39,000 visitors in 2010.
Exhibition areas
The fair comprises three exhibition areas: recreational vehicles ( caravans , motorhomes, mobile homes, etc.), outdoor equipment (grills and cooking equipment, weather and sun protection systems, tents, sleeping bags, functional clothing, etc.) and tourism (adventure trips, excursion destinations, campsites , fitness , wellness Etc.).
