The Sulaimani Polytechnic University ( Kurdish زانکۆی پۆلیتەکنیکی سلێمانی) is an Iraqi - Kurdish university in Sulaimaniyya . It was founded in 1996.
history
In 1996 the "Foundation of Technical Institutions" was established, which in 2003 was renamed the "Foundation of Technical Education in Sulaimani" (FTES). In 2012 the FTES was restructured into a university.
The main campus of the university is in Sulaimaniyya. There are other campuses in Kalar , Halabja , Dschamdschamāl , Darbandichan and Dukan .
