Sumuhu'ali Yanuf II

Sumuhu'ali Yanuf II ( Saba s 1 mhʿly ynf S 1 umuʿalī Yanuf), son of Dhamar'ali Watar , was a ruler ( Mukarrib ) of the old South Arabian empire of Saba . Hermann von Wissmann put it around 528 BC. Chr.

Sumuhu'ali Yanuf II is mainly known for the construction of the Ma'rib dam , which is reported by several building inscriptions. After this he had hit the northern channel of the Südschleuse into the rock, from where the primary channel Yasran the Mariber irrigated Südoase. The dam construction was completed by his son and successor Yitha'amar Bayyin II .
