Supercookie , not to be confused with evercookie , is a term that is used imprecisely and alternately or jointly in computer science and in various media for the following terms:

  • Web Storage , also called "DOM Storage (Cookie)"
  • Flash cookie , also known as “Local Shared Object”, LSO (cookie) for short
