Sven Edin was a Swedish cross-country skier .
Edin, who started for IF Friska Viljor , finished 24th over 18 km at the Nordic World Ski Championships in Lahti in 1938 . The following year he became Swedish champion over 30 km and with the relay of IF Friska Viljor and won the 50 km run at the Holmenkollen Ski Festival .
