Svend Smith
Svend Smith (* 1907 in Copenhagen ; † November 13, 1985 in Gentofte ) was a Danish phonetician .
Life
After receiving his doctorate (Bidrag til Løsning af Problemer vedrørende Strodet i dansk Rigssprog) at the University of Copenhagen in 1944 as Dr. phil. he taught from 1967 to 1975 as professor for phonetics at the University of Hamburg .
