Svenska Missionskyrkans Ungdom Scout ( SMU-Scout ) was the scout organization of the Swedish Mission Church and for a long time Sweden's second largest scout association (1982: 41,000 members). In 2013 she joined the Equmeniascout association .

The boy scout program began in 1931 and that for girl scouts in 1936. As early as 1957, the terms and activities for girls and boys were standardized, but still implemented in separate gender groups. In 1972 the groups finally became co-educational.

In 1961, SMU-Scout applied for membership in Svenska Scoutrådet and was accepted in 1963. In 2007, the entire work of the SMU was transferred to the church umbrella organization equmenia , the youth organization of the three churches that have formed the Equmeniakyrkan since 2011 . However, the name SMU-Scout initially remained . Equmeniascout was founded in 2013 as the successor organization.
