Svetlana "Lana" Tsys (* 1989 in Stavropol , Russian SFSR , Soviet Union ) is a German model .

Life

Svetlana Tsys emigrated as a small child with her German-Russian family from Kazakhstan to Berlin-Lichtenberg. As Miss East Germany was in the Egyptian seaside resort on 26 January 2007 Hurghada to Miss Germany crowned. At the age of 14 she was elected Miss Berlin , but subsequently disqualified because she had not yet reached the 16 years of age required to participate.

She is the first Miss Germany to be chosen abroad. So far, this has only been the case in the Miss Germany competitions in 1970 and the early 1980s.
