Swankas
Swankas , also Swenkas , are men in South Africa who on weekends in their spare time perform individual dance performances in front of an audience in elegant suits in the style of the 1950s. Swankas are mostly migrant workers from the Zulu people .
This dance form originated in what is today the South African province of KwaZulu-Natal , where male choirs have long been practicing a cappella singing.
