Svyatogor

Svjatogor , also Svjatogor (Russian: Святогор), is in the Russian epic epic Kievan Rus a bogatyr (warrior or fighter, in historical writings also knight) with supernatural powers.

Bogatyr Ilja Muromets is said to have received his sword from wandering singers from Svyatogor's estate . This legend is implemented in the Russian folk tale Ilja Muromets , which was filmed by Mosfilm in 1956 as The Battle for the Golden Gate .
