The Swollen Members are a hip hop group from Vancouver , Canada that made a name for themselves in the underground scene there in the mid-1990s.
Band history
The band consists of rappers Madchild (Shane Bunting) and Prevail (Kiley Hendricks), as well as DJ and producer Rob The Viking (Robin Hooper). Former member Moka Only left the band after the fourth album Heavy to concentrate on his solo career.
Swollen Members releases their music under the indie label Battle Ax Records , which was founded by Mad Child to give his band and other musicians from Canada a chance to spread their material. They are also featured on the soundtracks of the games Smackdown vs RAW , Mat Hoffman's Pro BMX 2 and the snowboarding game SSX 3.
