Sy-Kick was an English house band in the early 1990s , consisting of the duo Brad Carter and Mark French.

At first only appearing in clubs, the two soon made a name for themselves in the English rave scene. Their first well-known hit was Upside , but their breakthrough at the time came with the track Nasty , a very successful pianola-dancefloor mixture, which made it way into the English dance charts in May 1992 and can also be seen frequently on MTV was. Other dance hits were Music in the House , Believe in me and Take a look .
