Sybian
A Sybian is an electric motor-driven sex toy that was developed by David L. Lampert and manufactured by his company Abco Research Associates in Monticello (Illinois) and sold worldwide from there.

Lampert had the idea to build the Sybian in the early 1970s, but it took several years for it to be finally realized and ready for the market. The Sybian has been marketed professionally since 1985. When choosing the brand name, the ancient Greek city of Sybaris was the inspiration, whose inhabitants were said to have a proverbial addiction to pleasure.
The Sybian consists of a saddle-like seat with a base plate with an optional rod protruding from the center. The rubber attachment is set in vibration by an electric motor ; it is also possible to rotate any additional accessories. Vibration and rotation can be controlled and switched off separately. Dildos , butt plugs or knobs can serve as accessories . The base plate is used to excite the labia and the clitoris, the rod is inserted into the vagina.
The Sybian has a weight of 10 kg and a base area of 33.5 cm × 31.5 cm. The height from the bottom to the top is 21.5 cm. With accessories, the Sybian has a height of approx. 4 cm from the seat to the tip of the rubber device, resulting in a total height of approx. 25 cm. The price of a device is around US $ 1,345 (2015).
