The Sydney University Stellar Interferometer (SUSI) is an interferometer from the University of Sydney for astronomical observation ; it is located in the Paul Wild Observatory , 20 km west of the city of Narrabri , Australia. The interferometer has 2 vacuum tunnels for light guidance, on which several siderostats for light feed are located. The light can be guided to a beam combiner via variable delay lines via one of each with an aperture of 14 cm. By selecting the siderostat, the base length can be varied between 5 m and 640 m, which results in angular resolutions between 0.02 and 0.000.07 arc seconds at 450 nm wavelength .
