Sylph ( Japanese シ ル フ , Shirufu ) is a Japanese manga magazine that is aimed at a young female audience and therefore belongs to the Shōjo category. It focuses on fantasy and science fiction series. Some series can also be assigned to the Boys' Love genre or contain allusions to it. The magazine has been published since 2006, initially as a special edition of the Dengeki Comic Gao! as comic sylph . Since May 22, 2008, Sylph has appeared as an independent monthly magazine on every 22nd. In 2009, it sold 70,000 copies per issue.
