Synagogue (Bad Königshofen im Grabfeld)

The synagogue in Bad Königshofen im Grabfeld , a town in the Lower Franconian district of Rhön-Grabfeld ( Bavaria ), was built in 1903/04. The former synagogue was located at Bamberger Straße 1, former address on Untereßfelder Straße .

history

During the November pogrom in 1938 , the synagogue was desecrated and the interior was destroyed. The damaged synagogue building was used as a granary during the war. In 1951 the building was sold to a trader for demolition, who built a car repair shop on the foundation walls.
