Télé Star has been a weekly French program guide since 1976 .

The magazine was founded in 1976 by publisher Cino Del Duca as a full-color program guide with a magazine section. The magazine was taken over by the British media group EMAP in 1994 and the French division was transferred to Arnoldo Mondadori Editore France in 2006 . Télé Star has been based at the French media group Reworld Media since 2020.

The circulation is around 810,000 copies (as of 2016).
