TED Notepad is a freeware - text editor for Windows to create simple text files , but also suitable for writing programs and other code. Even extremely large files can be processed without any loss of speed.

TED Notepad was designed by Juraj Simlovic at the Faculty of Mathematics and Physics at Charles University in Prague from 2001 . Right from the start, the main focus was on speed and efficiency. The program is portable, so it can be used directly from a USB memory stick on any Windows PC without installation.
