The Tanz-Sport-Club Brunswiek Rot-Weiss is a dance sport club in Braunschweig . The association was founded in 1984.

The club has offers in the popular sports area . Standard and Latin dances, foxtrot, discofox and salsa as well as solo dances are trained.

Former standard formation

The standard formation of the TSC Brunswiek Rot-Weiss was founded in 1994 and initially competed in the Regionalliga Nord Standard in the 1994/1995 season, where the team took first place at the end of the season. The team also won the promotion tournament to the 2. Bundesliga Standard, so that they competed in the 2. Bundesliga in the 1995/1996 season. With the first place in the league, they made it through to the 1st Bundesliga Standard. The team competed in the 1st Bundesliga until the 1997/1998 season. After relegation to the 2nd Bundesliga, the 1998/1999 season was followed by a direct return to the 1st Bundesliga, in which, with 7th place in the 1999/2000 season, the class could not be maintained. After relegation to the 2nd Bundesliga, the standard formation of TSC Brunswiek Rot-Weiss no longer took part in league competitions. The team was trained by Irmhild and Horst Maßberg.
