The TSV Röttenbach (complete Turn- und Sportverein Röttenbach eV ) is a multi-discipline club with around 400 members from the Middle Franconian community of Röttenbach (near Erlangen) . In addition to the football department, the club also offers badminton, table tennis and volleyball.

history

The club was founded in 1927 under the name TSV Röttenbach 1927 . After the sports business came to a complete standstill in World War II, the club was renamed TSV Röttenbach after the war ended in March 1946 , with three local clubs now merging under the new name. In football, the first team took part in the first round of the DFB Cup in the 1981/82 season, in which they failed 3-1 at the Elversberg sports association . In badminton , Stefanie Müller won bronze medals at the German championships in 2007 and 2009.
