from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

TTP-OS is a real-time operating system (RTOS) from the Austrian company TTTech Computertechnik AG.

The areas of application are primarily automobiles, aerospace and military technology.

particularities

The operating system was designed on the paradigm of timing ; H. a configuration tool determines a priori which tasks must run at which point in time. It takes into account which messages the individual tasks send or receive (regardless of whether these messages come from sensors / actuators, from the real-time network or from other tasks).

This means that the behavior of the application is completely deterministic, which is desirable in many application areas.

For use in critical areas, the system fulfills u. a. the following requirements:

The operating system is used in the Airbus A380 and for engine controls ( FADEC ).
