Ta 'Dbieġi (village)

The handicraft village Ta 'Dbieġi is located at the foot of the Ta' Dbieġi hill of the same name on the Maltese island of Gozo . It belongs to the municipality of San Lawrenz .

Ta 'Dbieġi is known as the oldest artisan village on the island of Gozo. The more than 6500 m² area was a military area with barracks at the time of British rule over Malta. It is used by Malta Industrial Parks Ltd operated.

On the premises, local artisans maintain their workshops and can sell their products directly to tourists, including lace , filigree silversmithing , pottery , hand-blown glass and wrought iron. The visitors have the opportunity to watch the craftsmen at work.
