Chalkboard paper

In banking, a board paper is a security that can effectively be handed over to the bank customer and kept in custody himself or in a safe deposit box ( closed deposit ). Board papers are therefore always bearer papers . Business with board paper is a board business , but this business term is not limited to the trade in board paper, but also includes, for example, business with sorts or with precious metals such as gold .

Today, securities are predominantly traded by way of collective safe custody or value rights , i.e. posted to securities accounts without denominations. That is why physically deliverable securities certificates are the exception.
