Daily politics

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Under current politics is meant describing all politically and culturally important events and incidents a day , or a shorter period and all related decisions currently pending. Events in daily politics are usually fleeting, ie they can be unimportant and forgotten the next day or in a few days. In many cases, routine processes are summarized under daily politics . The phrase back to daily politics accordingly describes the resumption of day-to-day business. Beyond or apart from daily politics , on the other hand, refers to special topics and decisions.

In a negative, evaluative context, the term daily politics appears as a reproach against politicians and parties if, in the opinion of the critics, they do not pursue future-oriented or value-oriented politics or refrain from making important decisions.

The term is also used in the press landscape. So z. B. Stern Online has a section called Daily Policy.
