The Tagoi language is a Kordofan language , closely related to Tegali , and is spoken near the city of Rashad in southern Kordofan in Sudan , around 12 ° N, 31 ° E.
Unlike Tegali, this language has a complex system of nominal classes, which appears as if the Tagoi language had borrowed from far more typical Niger-Congo languages. It has several dialects, including Umali (Tumale), Goy (Tagoi proper), Moreb, and Orig ( ŋóóriɡ , Turjuk).
