Takashi Kobayashi ( Japanese 小林 崇志 , Kobayashi Takashi ; born November 8, 1987 in Hiroshima Prefecture ) is a Japanese racing driver . In 2011 he drove in Formula Nippon .

Career

Kobayashi competed in the Japanese Formula Challenge from 2006 to 2008 . He finished ninth in 2006 and 2008 and eighth in the championship in 2007. In total, he achieved three podium finishes. In 2009 he switched to the Japanese Formula 3 championship and competed for HFDP Racing in the national class. In this classification he was on the podium seven times and was fourth in the classification. In 2010 Kobayashi contested his second season in Japanese Formula 3. He won the national championship six times and finally secured the championship title. His best overall placement was fifth. He also started in a Super GT race , which he won.

In 2011 Kobayashi moved to Formula Nippon for Real Racing . He finished the season with no points in 14th place overall. He also started in the Super GT and finished 15th.
