Taliq font

The Taliq script ( Arabic تعلیق, DMG taʿlīq ) is a script style of Islamic calligraphy . It was developed in Iran during the 10th century , using elements from Nashi , Tauqi and Reqa . The script was in use until the 14th century, when it was replaced by the Nastaliq script . This script was mainly used to write down books and Dīwāne .
