Tamp-blow process

The tamp-blow process is the name given to the process in which contactless labeling takes place.

The printed label is dispensed onto a vacuum plate and held in place by means of a vacuum generated by a venturi valve (vacuum generator ). Shortly before the product is reached, a repulsion pulse is generated that reverses the vacuum effect and inflates the label on the product.
