Tanab

Tanab (rope) was a measure of area in Bukhara . A rope was used for measuring.

  • 1 Tanab = 3600 square steps = 60 square cells = about 68.7 square meters

The underlying cubit , the Haze or Harsch, was calculated to be 1½ arsin (Russian) or 42 inches (English) and was 1.07 meters .
