Tanya Hearn

Tanya Hearn (born February 28, 1980 in Cairns ) is an Australian enduro athlete . In 2012 she was a member of the Australian national team at the International Six Day Race .

Career

Tanya Hearn started motorcycling in 2003.

In April 2009 she finished seventh in the Australian four-day race. In September 2009 Tanya Hearn began to professionalize her athletic career. By expanding her circle of sponsors and supporters, she was able to finance a personal trainer and get a second competition motorcycle.

In 2010 Tanya Hearn took part in the Australian Offroad Championship for the first time with a KTM as a privateer and came second overall. In the Australian four-day run, she came fourth. In the Queensland Enduro Series, she was second.

In the following year she was unable to continue the previous year's successes due to injuries and problems with the motorcycle. She finished fourth in the Australian Offroad Championship. In the Australian four-day trip, it was canceled on the third day.

In 2012 Tanya Hearn became a member of the Pro Rider KTM team. In the Australian off-road championship, she was able to deny only half of the runs and was seventh in the overall standings. With the Australian women's national team at the 87th International Six-Day Tour in Saxony, she achieved third place. In the individual ranking she was eighth and won a bronze medal. She came second in the Australian four-day race.
