Tapper (magazine)

Tapper was a satirical magazine in Estonia, which appeared 1905-1907 (under the direction of Juhan Lilienbach ) and then again 1917-1918. She was close to the labor movement and criticized tsarism and the Estonian bourgeoisie. Caricatures, poems, stories and feature sections have appeared in Tapper , e. B. by Hans Pöögelmann and Viktor Kingissepp , as well as translations of works from other languages, e. B. by Alexander Pushkin , Lev Tolstoy , Victor Hugo , Jack London and Emile Zola .
